Maxxis has been a great supporter of grass roots cycling in our region firstly by sponsoring “The Bel Squad” our local cycling development squad and secondly sponsoring the MB100 since 2019.

Our Rides
167km Imperial Challenge
This ride is a challenge for the more experienced cyclist that will lead out across the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge, Sandgate to Shorncliffe and out to Strathpine via Old North Rd to take on the challenging climbs of Bunya Rd. From there it heads up to Dayboro REST STOP at the toilet block before heading up and over Mt Mee. On to D’Aguilar REST STOP for extra Hammer hydration then on to – Wamuran – Caboolture with rest stop in at Morayfield Super cycles. Next head towards Burpengary where you cross back over the Bruce Hi way heading back towards Deception Bay water front for the final rest stop – on to Rothwell on Anzac Ave through to Scarborough KOM & QOM section before rounding the Redcliffe Peninsular and back to Woodypoint for the finish

100km Century Classic
The Century Classic leaves out the extreme parts of the 162KM Imperial Challenge and covers some of the best riding in the district. With just enough hills to add a little challenge, and plenty of beach views and bay breezes to cool you down on the return leg.

60km Social Adventure
The Social Adventure is for riders who aren’t ready to commit to the Century, but still want to experience the best the area has to offer. Explore breezy bikepaths, rolling hills and beautiful beachfront in this scenic adventure.

22km Family Ride
The Family Ride is open for all ages and is a 100% cycle path ride taking you around the Margate Beach foreshore, across the Ted Smout Bridge and along to the far end of the Sandgate foreshore to the church rest area. It is highly recommended that children under 12 are accompanied by an adult as there are road (carpark / boat ramp) entry crossings along the route.
